Joyce M. Bates
Founder

Joyce has an MBA from Rollins College and a BS in Business and Marketing from Florida Southern College. Her past designations included Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).

Joyce was a founding member and first president of the Central Florida Employee Benefits Council, a past president of the Florida Association of Pension Consultants and a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA). Joyce worked 40 years in the Retirement Plan Administration industry, retiring in 2012.

Joyce has been active on many community boards, including the Central Florida YMCA, the Central Florida Women’s Resource Center, Leadership Winter Park Alumni Council, Florida Executive Women, Women Playing for T.I.M.E., The Center for Women’s Philanthropy and The Winter Park Breakfast Rotary. She is currently serving as Treasurer of the Parkinson Association of Central Florida and enjoying retirement.
